How long before we receive our photos?

All sessions are delivered 2-3 weeks after the date via an online and downloadable gallery, but sneak peaks arrive in your inbox 1-2 days afterwards!

Wedding galleries are delivered 6-8 weeks after your wedding date via an online gallery, and your keepsake USB is shipped at this time. Sneak peaks arrive in your inbox 5-7 days afterwards.

how much is the RETAINER?

In order to reserve your wedding or session date, a retainer of 50% is due upon booking. Because I reserve this day for your wedding (or portrait session) alone and turn down any other inquiries for your date, the retainer is not refundable.

do you offer payment plans?

I do offer payment plans. I understand life doesn’t always happen the way we want it to. Please ask me about them!

What gear do you use?

I use a professional Canon 5d miii, top of the line Canon lenses, and quality flashes and lights. I also always bring backup gear to ensure that I don’t miss a thing if my camera malfunctions.

Do you edit your own photos?

Why, yes! I’m so glad you ask. I personally curate and edit each gallery by hand, rather than outsourcing editing to large companies. My editing process includes color and lens corrections, cropping and straightening to perfection, and skin smoothening when applicable.

if it’s rainy or snowy do we have to reschedule?

No, absolutely not! However, the vision for your session or wedding may change. We can either take some beautiful photos in the rain, or move everything indoors if you have little ones. Resceduling is up to you, but know that I’m always up for an adventure!

will you travel for my wedding?

Yes! I love to travel, and would be overjoyed to photograph your destination wedding. Travel fees apply 60 miles round trip from Concord, NC. I ask that you cover gas or airfare, a hotel room (for 60 miles out of Concord), and a rental car if applicable.

our ceremony is outdoors. what time should it take place?

Unless you plan to hold the cermony under a canopy, I highly recommend you schedule your ceremony around golden hour, which is an hour before sunset. Speaking from experience, my wedding was in the afternoon in August, so everyone was sweating uncomfortably including the whole wedding party. Additionally, the photos of our ceremony were captured in harsh sunlight. But not to worry! Once you book me, 2019 brides will receive a helpful guide with more details, including sample timelines so you can plan for the best time possible to ensure your photos are perfect and you aren’t sweating down the inside of your dress like I did!
